Currently employees of Romanian company “Iasicon” are working on restoration of the fortress towers. They are reinforcing the wall structures with cement. During the restoration works there used new technologies, which had been tested in the renewal of Neamt Fortress in Romania.
Building stone is mined in nearby quarries.
Restoration works of this historic complex are included in a single project under which two more fortresses of medieval Principality of Moldavia - Suceava and Hotin are to obtain a fresh look.
