Architectural ensemble “Mindic Villa” will be restored together by Moldovan and Polish experts. Corresponding Polish-Moldovan agreement on the restoration of the architectural complex has already been signed; the only thing to be done is to prepare the project budget.
Minister of Culture of the Republic of Moldova Monica Babuc said at a press conference that: "Two Polish experts have already examined the situation in the park, so there will be made more examination in the summer, after which the project budget will be determined and the restoration work will be started."
In addition, the Ministry of Culture of Moldova and Poland will establish a joint fund for the restoration of the park landscape.
Possible assistance in the restoration work will be rendered by polish and Moldovan students.
"Apparently “Mindic Villa” is turning into an international youth center. Moldovan and Polish students can relax, learn and work at the same time helping to restore this wonderful heritage of Moldova" said Monica Babuc.
The Polish Government intends to continue to cooperate with Moldova in projects to preserve and develop cultures of the two countries.
