63 hectares of Bubuieci agricultural land will be allotted and handed over to the Department of Penal Jurisdiction for the construction of a new prison.
The new prison will accommodate within its walls 1536 prisoners, 1200 of which will be transferred from penitentiary number 13 being in disrepair.
Loan for the construction of the penitentiary in the amount of 39 million euros has been received by the Government.
